Hojat Rahimi is a Persian-language singer, pianist, composer and music producer based in Göteborg, Sweden. With long international experience in live performance, studio production, television, radio, film, commercial music and cultural projects, his work connects Afghan and Persian musical heritage with modern, cinematic and emotional sound.
Born in Ahwaz, Iran, with an Iranian mother and Afghan father, Hojat’s artistic identity is shaped by a deep cultural background and years of professional music work across different countries and communities. His music brings together traditional inspiration, emotional storytelling and contemporary production.
Hojat has worked with established artists, live concerts, weddings, cultural festivals, radio and television productions, commercial music, film and media projects. His professional background also includes music direction, artistic consulting and production work connected to TOLO TV and Moby Afghanistan.
In Sweden, Hojat completed The Music College at Angered Folkhögskola during 2025–2026, further developing his work in music production, ensemble performance, composition, arrangement and creative music-making. In 2026, he continues his academic development through the BA Music and Sound Production programme at the University of Gothenburg, focusing on artistic and technical knowledge in modern music and sound production.
As the founder of Sorood Production in Göteborg, Hojat continues to create music, support artists and develop professional music, video and media projects with a strong cultural, emotional and cinematic identity.
